Here’s what you’ll learn in this class:
- understand how your body works in relation to energy, stress, hormones, food, exercise, and more
- better understand the physiology of your body – your gut, your nervous system, your reproductive system
- how to manage the emotional and physical stressors in your life in a way that serves you
In a nutshell: Understand and manage what comes into your life and choose what comes out of your life to move through life gracefully and live your life on purpose, acting as an agent and not a victim.
9 Packed Modules:
Module 1: A Stressful Life
Understand how stress affects your body, and tools you can use to prevent stress – and deal with it when it inevitably comes.
Module 2: Toxins and Environment
Understand how toxins come into our life and what we can do to reduce them in our life – and detox when they inevitably come.
Module 3: Hormones
Understand adolescence and how to manage the emotional and physical changes that come with it.
(This module has separate modules for girls and boys, focusing on personal applicable changes during adolescence, but also including the information to help everyone understand each other.)
Module 4: Thoughts and Things others Say
Find your own personal compass to help you navigate the positive and negative thoughts and influences surrounding you every day.
Module 5: Food
Understand the why behind good food choices as you discover how the human body reacts to the food we eat, both physically and emotionally – and prepare to be amazed at the microbiome that lives inside!
Module 6: Authentic Connection, Kindness & Service
How connection is related to health and why we need each other! Explore how to be your authentic self and handle conflict in empowering and kind ways.
Module 7: High Energy
Understand what affects your energy and tools you can use to create more energy in your life!
Module 8: Calm, Gratitude and Optimism
Get empowered with tools to stay calm and optimistic helping you become an active participant in your life – and not the victim, no matter what comes your way.
Module 9: A Balanced Life
Rest, work, movement, recharge – what’s your right balance? This last module brings it all together into a personal plan for you to intentionally move forward with your life on purpose.
